Bighorn sheep- 5"x7" Art Card

Bighorn sheep

Original (sold): 8" x 10", Acrylic on masonite.

These 5" x 7" cards are made with 4"x6" prints of my paintings. Comes with an envelope and in a protective plastic envelope. These art cards are also easily framed and make nice gifts.

We visited the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park in Nova Scotia a while ago. A bighorn sheep in a barn looked out the door at us. The darkness framed the light coloured animal so well, I had to try to paint it in monochrome. This is also one of the first time I'd ever tried painting with palette knives It's fun to lay on that paint thick!
