Turtles are one of my favourite animals diving. It's underwater that you get to observe how graceful these animals are. This particular turtle was munching on sponge when we saw it on a dive one year in Turks and Caicos. At the Steele Ocean Sciences Building at Dalhousie University during Doors Open Halifax some years ago, we learned turtles are found up in Nova Scotia but are endangered. :(
