One day when I was at the Alderney Landing Farmers' market in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with some of my mixed media paintings, another vendor came by and gave me some starfish and shark teeth that he didn't know what to do with. He suggested that I would probably have a better use for them then him.
I've really enjoyed using the sand with acrylic medium to create texture.
