Waiting for a friend
Original: 16" x 20", Acrylic on gallery wrapped stretched canvas
This painting was started as part of the "Cityscape" class that I took with Charlotte Marble through NSCAD's Extended studies. It was challenge to try and paint both buildings and people at the same time- a skill I'll continue to try to improve.
As with "Window shopping in the Hydrostone", the Hydrostone market served as inspiration with its beautiful colorful buildings. If you're a knitter, you might recognize the LK Yarns shop.

I've enjoyed treats from Julien's bakery and looking in Rusty Hinges while on my way to the Alliance Française for French book club and other events.
